HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Lions George Fregeau and Peter Page who celebrate July Birthdays! GREAT NEWS, as of Lion Sam's last checkup, he is cancer free! We wish Lion Sam continued good health. Please keep in your thoughts and prayers Lions Peter Page and Richard Parker who are going through serious medical conditions. The Fitchburg Community Lions presented six Lions with prestigious Lion Awards for their community service. Recipients of the Melvin Jones Fellowship, the highest award given in Lionism were Ross Sweatman and Bruce Bolduc. Recipients of the Joseph J. Camarda Fellowship, a District Award for exceptional community service were: Rodney Bolduc, Annette Kelly, Rev. Humbert Thomas and Mary Lou Varville. Congratulations to all for your dedication to Lionism and its cause.
